The Encore

The Encore’s open seat is deceptive. This saddle is there to support you when it’s time to go to work, but never gets in your way. A favorite of riders who enjoy developing their riding along biomechanics principles, this saddle provides security from the design of the seat, rather than due to a high pommel and cantle. The saddle is somewhat broad in front of the rider, narrow underneath, and then widens to a generously supportive sitting platform.

When we designed the Encore, we needed to solve two problems: fitting the massively wide back, and stabilizing a big trot. When this tree design got it done, we named it the Encore, because it just keeps you wanting more.
